The code pairing is no longer an issue with the new updated version of the OS. Still, some of them seem to work while others do not. It is really hit or miss with the Chinese models. I bought a low profile one and it didn't work. I have 2 other ones as well, only one of which actually works. I think I shall go try again now that I have updated to the latest OS.

I have not tried one yet. But when looking at the torque app, there is some info that the cheap chinese models are hot or miss. They do suggest you try and find one with a good return policy. I was looking at trying this one out http://bit.ly/1lTCTn3 . It has a 60 money back guarantee.

To update, the low profile OBDII adapter now works.

Hi everybody,

I bought a cheap one at amazon for 10. It works fine, but i have a problem with the pairing. I just have to delete my phone for pairing my bluetoth OBD2 Intface. Does anybody have a good idea for me??? The headunit is rooted.

Thank you

its important for you guys to know, to use a third party Bluetooth connection manager, the Asteroid one cant maintain a steady connection with more than device it drops the connection, I found  that Bluetooth Auto-Pair by Michael Brachmann  -worked best for me and its a couple of bucks from the google play store

I have some Chinese adapters that work and some that don't. Even have 2 of the exact same brand and model. One of them works while the other does not...

With the new update of parrot it works fine, you can try also another PIN for pairing.
